Custom-made suites

Johannes, Stefan and I had finally come to a decision: rather pay a little more in a trustworthy-looking store than go for the really cheap deal. So off we went to our custom tailor of choice in Itaewon. At first we had to choose between an enormous variety of materials: all-year, autumn, spring, stripes, nothing, black, blue... Then after finally coming to a decision on that, we needed to choose style. Two or three buttons? Jacket cut in the center of the back or twice on the sides? And more. Eventually, it got down to taking measurements. A week later we returned to try on the suites in an intermediate state. We put them on and they were adjusted in multiple places pulling little strings and putting little needles to make them fit as good as possible. Quite an unusual feeling having someone fiddle around with the clothes one is wearing to make adjustments. Yet another week later, we could finally try on the result of our money and the tailor's work. All of us were quite pleased. The suites feel good, fit well and look quite impressive. A nice little feature that surprised us all was our name stitched on the inside of the suites. All that remains now is to find one or more occasions to try them out.
